Content Blocks
The Email Framework is built to be completely modular, which means that you can drag and drop the content blocks you'd like into the email you're creating.
The content blocks have been designed with two different styles: formal and informal. All content blocks are available in both styles, and many content blocks are the same for formal and informal.
The way you indicate which style you'd like to use is on your email. When naming your email, it begins with your brand configuration and then the letter F (for formal) or I (for informal). The naming convention is covered in more detail in the instructions on how to create an email. This will allow you to use an informal style for one email send, and formal style for the next.
The content blocks have been organized in Marketing Cloud the same way they have been here. There is a folder for each category of content block, and content blocks within. To find the content blocks in Marketing Cloud, navigate to Content Builder, then the Shared panel and then choose the folder Shared Content > Email Framework > Content Blocks.
You should only use the content blocks associated with the Email Framework. Using other content blocks has a high chance of breaking your email, especially on mobile devices.
