Marketing Cloud Training
Training is required for all users of Marketing Cloud. The goal of training is to help all users be successful in the tool and create good experiences for their constituents. The format accounts for a range of learning styles, and mixes synchronous and asynchronous learning—both online via Canvas and via Zoom.
You'll need to pass the quizzes with an 80% grade or better.
Even though completion of Levels 1 and 2 of training are required to get Level 2 access, you can request Level 1 access when you begin training. Having Level 1 access will allow you to follow along in Marketing Cloud as you go through training.
Note: you won't automatically get Level 2 access when you're done with Levels 1 and 2 of training. You'll need to submit an request to get Level 2 access.
Training Part 1
This course is required for all Marketing Cloud users. It also corresponds with access to Level 1 (more info about access levels), which is the first level of access in Marketing Cloud. Start here!
It covers:
- Basics of the platform, including how to navigate and what tools we use at IU
- Information about the Email Framework, the modular system for creating emails
- How to build, design, and edit emails
- Information about tracking and metrics
- An overview of the Marketing Cloud user community and how the CX Marketing team is here to support you
Training Part 2
This course is required for users to get access to Level 2 (more info about access levels). Start with Marketing Cloud Training Part 1, then continue on to Part 2.
It covers:
- How to manage your data
- How to use your data to send emails
- How to send emails
