Using the email framework template
The template for the Email Framework lives in the shared folder in Marketing Cloud, found here:
Content Builder > Shared > Shared Content > Email Framework > Email Template
By using a source template from the shared folder instead of a local template you’ve saved, your email designs will be kept up-to-date with any future improvements.
How to reuse email layouts
Chances are, you aren’t creating an email from scratch every single time you build one, and are instead duplicating previous emails. You can do this moving forward—once you create your very first email using the email framework, you can then duplicate that email over and over, and it will still use the same base template.
Just navigate to the folder that contains the email you'd like to reuse, then click on the arrow to the right of that email. Then select "Duplicate" in the menu that appears.
