Legacy send classification
Follow these steps to create reusable send classifications that will determine these important elements for your emails:
- “From” and “reply to” name and email addresses
- Header and footer settings
- CAN-SPAM delivery type
Your send classifications will consist of a sender profile, delivery profile, and a commercial or transactional CAN-SPAM classification. A sender profile is a stored record containing the “from” and “reply to” email addresses, while a delivery profile is a record that specifies the email header and footer configuration. Both are housed in the Admin tab within Email Studio.
Once a send classification is made, it can be reused for other email sends. Business units can create and use multiple send classifications.
Make sure you name your send classifications so you can easily identify them when you go to send your emails.
